Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 2:00 p.m. at Summersville Baptist Church for Isaac A. Bloyd, 83, who died at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Hospital in Glasgow. Rev. D. L. Druien and Rev. Coy Kidd will be in charge of services. Burial will be in Bell Cemetery. The son of the late Miller Bloyd and Mrs. Nancy Jane Larimore Bloyd, he was born in Green County February 11, 1872. He was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church.
He was united in marriage to Miss Lillie Erma Bell in 1894. She preceded him in death June 18, 1955. To this union three daughters and six sons were born. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lillie Marcum, Greensburg; three sons, Rollin Bloyd, Greensburg, George Bloyd of Taylor County, and Frank Bloyd of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Blevins and Mrs. Louella Wilson, both of Dayton, Ohio; four brothers, Arvin, Jim and Bob Bloyd, Taylor County, and Dave Bloyd, Green County; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
