Everett Huling Dead.
Locust Hill and vicinity lost one of its splendid young men when Everett Huling died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Huling last Friday morning, March 31. The deceased had been suffering from an attack of pneumonia and had rallied but a relapse came and complications arose which caused his death. He was operated upon on Wednesday but without result.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Huling died when he was young and his home had been with Chester, an uncle, ever since. He is survived by a brother, George, and a half brother in Mexico. At an early age he joined Methodist church and was always an active member. His life was clean and his influence for the good.
Funeral services were held at Locust Hill Sunday morning, conducted by Rev. R. H. Felt. As a testimony of the respect in which he was held, the casket and church were decorated in flowers, white predominating. Members of his Sunday school class acted as pall bearers.
