Funeral Wednesday For Well-Known Freedom Resident, Gail O. Abrell, 81

Gail O. Abrell, 81 years old, R.R. 1, Freedom, died Sunday May 10, in Bloomington Hospital.

He was born at Freedom June 3, 1905 the son of Otis Abrell and Myrtle Fulk Abrell.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Dillion Abrell, his daughter, Nancy Meneely of Terre Haute, brother, Clee Abrell of Cloverdale.

A daughter, one sister and one brother proceded him in death.

He was a member of the Freedom Christian Church.

Mr. Abrell was a retired farmer.

He was also a former school teacher in the Freedom and Monroe County schools.

He had served as Probation Officer and Attendance Officer in Owen County.

He was a member of the Freedom Masonic Lodge and the Indiana Teachers Association.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Tinsley and the Rev. Earl Ramey will officate.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Masonic Memorial Serives will be conducted at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
