Funeral services for Phoebe Elizabeth (Beth) Mecham Anderson, 69, wife of Carlos Anderson, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Hinckley Ward Chapel.

Mrs. Anderson, well-known Millard County artist and art teacher despite a long struggle with crippling arthritis, died April 8,1977 at home in Hinckley.

She was born Jan. 29, 1908 in Hinckley to Joseph Preston and Phoebe Elizabeth Hale Mecham. She was graduated from Hinckley High School where she served as student body vice president.

She married Carlos I. Anderson Jan. 4, 1947 in Salt Lake City.

She is survivied by her husband; one brother and two sisters, Mrs. Don T. (Etta) Bishop and Mrs. Sterling (Myrtis) Bennion. both of Delta; and LaMar W. Mecham, Las Vegas. Friends may call this evening from 7 to 8:30 at the Nickle Mortuary in Delta and at the Hinckley chapel one hour before services
