Funeral services for Mrs. Charles B. Jones, 76, a long time resident of Dallas, will be held at 9:30 a. m. Monday in the George A. Brewer Funeral Chapel, 3603 Ross Ave.

She died Friday afternoon in a Dallas hospital following a short illness. Her home was at 5807 Lindell.

Mrs. Jones was born in Cleburne, Johnson County, and was the former Miss Stella Kate Jarnagin.

Mrs. Jones, who had lived in Dallas 72 years, owned and operated a bookstore in Dallas from 1898 to 1912 with her late husband.

Operated under the name, Jones Bookstore, it was one of only two bookstores in Dallas during that period.

Dr. John F. Anderson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church here, of which Mrs. Jones was a member, will officiate at services. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marvin R. Kendrick of Salem, Illinois; sister, Mrs. John A. Potter of Dallas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three nieces; and six nephews.
