CARSON CLARK DRAPER

Carson Clark Draper died in Salt Lake City on Tuesday where he had been taken to the hospital seriously ill. Mr. Draper had been suffering with appendicitis and was unable to withstand the operation. He was sixty-nine years of age. Mr. Draper was born in Pockville, Utah a son of Zemira and Amy Terry Draper founders of Draper, Salt Lake County. He had lived in Hinckley for the past forty years where his family was raised. Mr. Draper was a successful farmer of Hinckley and has helped most materially in the building up of his community. Those who knew him valued his friendship and appreciated his fine character. Their sympathy is extended to the family in their bereavement. Mr. Draper is survived by the following children, Melvin Draper of Los Angeles; Mrs. E. S. Johnson of Sutherland; Lawrence and Clark Draper of Hinckley; Mrs. J. Bunker of Delta; nine grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Lucretia Terry of Baldwin Park, California. Mrs. Draper had died in July 1933. Funeral services will be held in Hinckley on Friday at one fifteen p.m. in the Hinckley church and interment will be in the Hinckley cemetery. The speakers will be Bishop C.A. Stratton, James F. Blake and John Reeve.
