Mary Ann Eberling Bond Farichild died on August 30, 2008 at Green Valley, Arizona. She was 90 years old. Mary Ann was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nogales, Arizona on January 26, 1918 to John Francis and Leonora Garza Eberling.

She attended the Vaughn and Canelo schools and graduated from Patagonia High School in 1936. She went on to Arizona State University in Tempe and graduated from there in 1940.

She taught in many Cochise County schools; the last 25 years of teaching were in Bisbee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters-Pauline Price, Frances Carrera, and Margaret Ross; four brothers-Emanuel, Clarence, Joe and Oscar Eberling; and her first husband, Albert Bond who died in 1967.

She later married her second husband, Marion A. Fairchild, Jr. who died in 1996.

She is survived by her three sons and one daughter and their spouses; Philip Bond (Julie) of Casa Grande, David Bond (Mary) of Douglas, Edward Bond (Carrie) of Richardson, Texas, and Charlotte Fick (Gerald) of Green Valley, Arizona. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Eva (Harold) Bowden and Elizabeth Jenkins and one brother Johnny Eberling.

The services will be at the Valley Bible Church on Double Adobe Road (right next to Mary Ann Fairchild's home) on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10:00am.

Viewing will be from 9:00-10:00am at the same location.

Pastor Michael Finley will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mc Neal Cemetery next to her late husband, Albert Bond.

A celebration of her life will be held immediately following the burial at the Valley Bible Church. Pallbearers who will serve are; David Bond, Philip Bond, Edward Bond, Jim Irwin, Gerry Fick and Tray Konrath."
