DIES FROM TYPHOID FEVER

The commuuity was much grieved to hear of the death of Charles E. Daniels, the wide awake citizen and stockman, on the morning of Dec.
29th. 1914. The summons came after an illness of some 15 days, at the home three miles west of Moulton, and the years were 46, months 10, days 25.
Charley Daniels was born in Jackson county, Ohio, Feb. 4th, 1868, and with his parents moved to Iowa in 1880. In September, 1902, he was married to Miss Lettie, Ulrich to which union five children were born - four of whom
survive. The lives of the new family were on the farm and the old Wm. Daniels home was their residence.
Deceased was sick often, but an untiring energy overcame all attacks until the last and a weakened constitution could not withstand the deadly typhoid germs. A loving wife and family and four brothers survive a kind helpmate and generous gentleman. Two brothers, Sherman and Neal, are dead and the living are Abner R , of Bentonsport, Frank, W. T.. and Newman. The living sister are: Mrs. Fred Hartwick and Miss Rebecca Daniels.
Charley Daniels had friends everywhere lie went. As a member of the Methodist church he was consistent, and as a brother in tho I. O. O. F., Woodmen, Yeomen and Homesteaders was much respected. The funeral was held from the residence yesterday at 11 a. m. by Rev. J.
W. Pool and the remains were placed in Oakland cemetery. Tho Odd Fellows were in charge and a host of friends were in attendance at the sad obsequies.
