Ward Daniels
Dies Saturday
Ward T. Daniels, 77, a lifelong resident of the Moulton vicinity, died Saturday, April 30, 1977 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Bloomfield {Centerville}. He had been a patient just three days.
He was the son of Warren Taylor and Eliza Craig Daniels. He was born Jan. 19, 1900 on the farm south of Moulton, where he spent his entire life, before retiring from farming and moving into Moulton two years ago.
He was united in marriage with Etha Hurd on Aug. 26, 1925.
He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife and children: Robert of Milton, Fla.; Mrs. Wendell (Ruth) Smith of Bloomfleld; and Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Payne, of Milton, Fla.; his daughter-in-law, Dorla Daniels, of Moulton. Also ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; two sisters, his son, Stuart; and one great granddaughter.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 3, 1977 at the United Methodist Church in Moulton with Rev. Richard Russell officiating.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. The Duley Funeral Home in Moulton was in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established payable to the Moulton United Methodist Church.
