RICHMONDER DIES IN CRASH ON ROUTE 60

Reports yesterday of three additional fatalities on Virginia roads raised in 1941 motor toil for the State to 214. John Marshall Stansbury, 71, of 217 North Cleveland Street, was killed instantly yesterday about 1:40 P.M. when a front tire of his automobile blew out on Route 60 just below Bottoms Bridge. The car left the highway and turned over twice before coming to a stop. Reuben Vranian, of 2001-A Park Avenue, a passenger in the automobile, suffered a broken arm and other undetermined injuries in the crash. Funeral arrangements for Mr. Stansbury had not been completed last night. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James K. Clary of Lakewood, Ohio; two brothers, W. R. and James Stansbury; one sister, Mrs. Molls Musgrove of Buena Vista, and two grandchildren.

STANSBURY - Died suddenly Sunday. April 20, 1941. John M. Stansbury age 71 years. He is survived by one daughter. Mrs. James R. Clary of Lakewood, OH, two brothers, W. R. And James Stansbury, one sister, Mrs. Mollis Musgrove of Buena Vista, VA.; two grandchildren. The remains rest at the residence of his brother-in-law E. C. Chittum, 217 N. Cleveland Street. Funeral notice later.
