Mrs. Louisa Ella (Ellen) Arnett passed away last Thursday at teh home of her son, Herbert Arnett, at Gateway. She with her family lived north of Cedaredge for about 3 years a decade ago.
Mrs Arnett was born Louise Ella Duncan, February 22 1863, in Iowa and lived in that state and Colorado all her life. her Husband Preceded her in death seven years ago and was buried in Cedaredge. one son is also deceased, having met an accidental death from a gun shot wound near here about 10 years ago.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs Mabel Bennett of Pagoda, Colo., and Mrs Ida Robinson of Carbondale, and two sons Edward Arnett of Pagoda, and Herbert of Gateway; also 28 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The body was brought to Cedaredge Monday and last services held in the Baptist church by Rev. J.O. Sanders. Interment was in the family lot in Cedaredge cemetery
