Peggy Marie Scott (the youngest (girl) of 7 children) was born Jan. 18, 1950 in Guymon, to Leonard and Clara (Schwindt) Scott. Peggy was raised in Guymon and graduated from Guymon high school in 1968. She and her family traveled the world and she maintained her Guymon residence.

Peggy was a dispatcher for the Guymon PD and an EMT in Guymon for many years. In 2000 she moved to Allen, Texas and started school at Collin County Community College School of Nursing and completed the program in 2003. As an RN she worked in the cardiac ICU unit at Baylor Garland Hospital. On Sept. 15, 2007 she married Carl Bailey in Dalhart.

Peggy's talents and love have touched many lives, from helping the sick and injured as an EMT and RN, to her passion as a seamstress with a talent for wedding dresses, tuxes, and wedding party gowns, but her sewing talent included her "anonymous gifting" of hand made children's garments, blankets, coats and clothes made from scraps and love.

Survivors include her husband Carl Bailey of Dalhart; daughters Gina and her husband William Bargas of Liberal, Kan. and Tonya Wilkenson of Friends, Neb. and a son Steve and his wife Abby Trotter of Weatherford, Okla.; Sisters – Gayle and her husband Joe Perkins of Kimbell, Neb., Carol and her husband Wes of McAdams of Allen, Texas, and Joyce Scott of Guymon; Brothers – Ray and his wife Linda Scott of Guymon, and Larry and his wife Lora Scott of Guymon; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Peggy was the youngest girl in the family. Her two brothers were the youngest in the family. She was a sweet heart.
