These Census are for Norman's brother Beman D. Stratton (1815 - 1864)

1860 Derby, Orleans, Vermont census shows B.B. Stratton, born 1815, Hester Stratton, born 1817, James Stratton, born 1844, William Stratton, born 1849, Joseph Stratton, born 1852, and Charles Stratton, born 1854, Phebe Stratton, born 1859 (probably 1858 as she was 1), and Hannah Stratton born 1859, 8/12 months old.

1850 Derby, Orleans, Vermont census lists him as Freeman Straton, Ester Straton, Anson Straton, born 1839, Harriet Straton, born 1840 (apparently they had two daughters named Harriet born 10 years apart), James Straton, born 1843, and William Straton, born 1849.
I found him listed as Beriah Beeman; someone made an annotation that his name was Beeman Beriah Stratton.
