Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Ethel Norris, 88, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Ovle Tinch and Rev. David Singleton officiating. Burial was in the Vaughn Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Norris, a factory worker, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born April 6, 1912, she was the daughter of the late N.C. and Rebecca (Smith) York. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Norris; six brothers and sisters; and two grandchildren.
She was a member of the Falling Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Norris, Alpine, and Larry Norris, Livingston; two daughters, Inez Wright, Holland, MI, and Joanna Johnson, Livingston; five grandchildren, two great grandchilren, and one step-great grandchild.
