KIA 5 Oct 1918 while delivering a message during the Battle of Blanc Mont Ridge at Champagne.
Originally buried in French soil, remains returned to the US and re-interred in the Rochester Cemetery, Section 13W, Lot 961 Interment #4442 on 17 Sept 1921.

Wray --- The body of Corp James Arthur Wray, who was killed in France, October 4, 1918, arrived in Topeka Tuesday night. He was a member of the Eighty-second company of the Sixth marines and was killed while delivering a message.
The funeral cortege will leave Conwell's chapel at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon for Rochester cemetery. Capital post No. 1, American Legion, will have charge of the services at the grave.
