She was born Nov. 24, 1937, in Hutchinson, Kan., daughter of Hal and Anna Hodgson. She graduated in 1973 from the Hutchinson Hospital School of Nursing, and moved to Menomonie that same year with her mother and children.
She worked as a RN at the Dunn County Health Care Center for 13 years, and then at the Hennepin County Medical Center. She also worked as a RN in River Falls and Hesston, Kan., before retiring in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jo Ann Johnson.
She is survived by a sister, Becky Mladnick of Forest Lake, Minn.; two children, Darren (LuAnn) McMannis of North Newton, Kan., and Rhonda (Mike) Rose of Phoenix, Ariz., and three grandchildren, Austin Pahnke, Hayden and Owen Anderson.
A family graveside service was held at the Hodgson family plot in Hutchinson, Kan., Eastside Cemetery.
