Cab Acuff, formerly electrician at the light plant here, but for the past three years being in the employe of the Wiscousin Lumber Company at Deering as electrician, died at his home there at 9:30 o'clock this morning after a lingering illness of tuberculosis. He leaves a wife, who was formerly Miss Georgia Black of this city, and one eight year old son, Eddie, to mourn his loss. He was a young man of sterling qualities, a member of the Masonic order of this city and had a host of friends here who will be deeply grieved to hear of his death. The remains will be brought to this city tomorrow afternoon on the Deering railway, and the local order of Masons will take charge of the body at Ward avenue and it will be held in this city until Thursday morning when it will be shipped on the early morning train to Norris City, Ill., where interment will be made.
