Tommy Walter Cox, 49, died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Palmetto Memorial Gardens, directed by Richardson Funeral Home.
Mr. Cox was born in Mullins, a son of Barbara Ann Hazelton of Florence and the late William Ivey Cox, Jr. He was a carpenter by trade.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his son, Lawrence Cox of Columbia, SC; daughter, Lily Ann Cox of Columbia; brother, Johnny Cox (Chastity) of Marion, SC; nephew, Harley Cox of Marion; and 3 grandchildren.
