Graveside services were to be held for Otis Ralph Jarrett, 80, former deacon at the First Assembly of God Church in Prescott, who died Sunday at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital. The services were scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Arizona Pioneer Home Cemetery with Rev. Paul Killingsworth officiating.
Born in Linden, Texas on July 20, 1900, he moved to Douglas, Ariz. in 1926 and had worked in the lumberyard and smelter there. During World War II, he worked in the shipyards in California, later doing carpentry work. He retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1970.
He is survived by one brother, S.E. Jarrett of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Clara Mae Clark of Fort Worth; and several nieces and nephews.
