ST. CLAIR -- Abbie McCartney, 95, died Thursday, March 18, 1993, in River District Hospital. She was born July 24, 1897, in Algonac. Her husband, Justin, died in 1955.
Abbie was a longtime member of Congregational Church in St. Clair.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Reva McCartney of St. Clair, a daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Richard Barnum of Port Huron; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the L. C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home in St. Clair. The Rev. John Naile will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
