Services for Ethel Lenzi, 71, of 1111 McCabe St., Rock Springs were conducted Monday, Feb. 28 at the First Congregational Church. The Rev. David Wade officiated.
Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery.
Louie Shifrar, Joe Legerski, Robert Wilkie, Rudy Pivik, Ray Lorenzon and Bill Weeks served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Lenzi died Thursday, Feb. 24 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.
She was born Dec. 13, 1911 to Thomas and Ann Rutherford Woodward in Roslyn, Wash. She married Albert A. Lenzi in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 11, 1938. She had been a resident of this area since 1913.
She was a graduate of Rock Springs High School and attended the University of Wyoming where she earned a teaching degree. She had taught school in Superior.
Survivors include her husband of Rock Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Joan Elizabeth) Killgore and Jean A. Lenzi, both of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Arthur Woodward of Rock Springs; two sisters, Flossie Wilkie and Mrs. Joseph (Lilly) Weeks, both of Rock Springs; several nieces and nephews.
