Renowned Spanish-born poet. Among his poems: "Nanas de la Cebolla", "Elegía a la Muerte de Ramón Sijé", "El Rayo Que no Cesa", "Viento del Pueblo" and "Cancionero y Romancero de Ausencias". He fought against fascim in the Spanish Civil War. He later died while in jail in Alicante.
