John H. Greenlese, 50, of 1111 Ogontz Road, Maumee, Ohio, died Thursday in St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the son of John George Greenlese and Marie Henrietia Neitzke.
A Toledo native, Mr. Greenlese was a assistant golf professional in the Toledo area after graduating from Maumee High School. He later joined American Floor Surfacing Co. where he was elected Union Steward. For the past 12 years Mr. Greenlese operated Greenlese Landscaping Company.
Surviving are his wife, Dora (Moore); daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Hamilton (Tim) and Mrs. Julie Tipping (Mark), both of Toledo, Ohio; son, John R. of Louisville, Ky.; brother Ray (Helen), of Millbury, Ohio; sister, Mrs. Norma Freeman (Dick), of Houston, Texas; and three grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents and brother Edward F. Greenlese Sr.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Birkenkamp Mortuary, Broadway, with burial in Historic Woodlawn Cemtery, Toledo, Ohio.
