Leva had lived most of life in St. Joseph. She was a former licensed practical nurse and a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Altar Society of the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Thompson, in 1927. Surviving; a daughter, Mary Redding, Gower, MO; a sister Pauline Bridger, Lincoln, Neb. four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
