Artist. Born in Valencia, Spain, he is included in the impressionist movement. He painted the murals of the Hall of Hispanic Society of America in New York. His famed paintings include "La vuelta de la pesca" (1893), "Y aún dicen que el pescado es caro" (1894), and "Niños en la playa" (1910).
