Ruth O. Coop, 88, of Ottawa, formerly of Marseilles, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2002 at her daughter's home in rural Ottawa.
In 1935, she married Merle Coop, who preceded her in death in 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Dean) Houck of Rushville, IL and Leona (Richard) Bornemann of Ottawa; one son, Keith (Pat) Coop of Mendota; eleven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, at First Church of the Nazarene of Ottawa with Pastor Brian Wangler officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Visitation will be at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles from 4:00PM to 8:00PM, Tuesday and for a half hour before the funeral service at the church.
