ALLIMAN.-Joseph W., son of Joseph and Katie Alliman, was born May 2, 1885, died Aug. 7, 1906; aged 21y., 3m., 5d. He suffered for a week with inflammation of the bowels, terminating in peritonitis. He leaves his parents, two brothers and two sisters and many friends to mourn his departure, but not as those who have no hope. In his young years he confessed faith in Christ as his Savior, and was received into church fellowship in the Sugarcreek congregation, near Wayland, Iowa. He remained a faithful member unto the end. In his death the family loses a loving son and brother, the community a good friend and the church a faithful and earnest worker. Funeral services were held at the Sugarcreek Church by S. Musselman in English from Rom. 14:7, 8, and S. Gerig in German from Luke 12:37.
