Frank was born in Cimmaron, New Mexico to Willis & Hattie (McClelland) Wilson. He grew up in Maple Hill, Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University with a BA in Animal Science. He moved to the Sulphur area in the early 1950's to manage Governor Turner's ranch. He later lived in Missouri, Kentucky moving back to Sulphur several years ago.
He married Maxine Robinson on June 14, 1944 at Hutchinson, Kansas.
He was a member of the Sulphur United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters: Louise Penny, Louine Glover, and Jane Matthews.
Survivors: his wife Maxine of the home. Daughter & husbands: Marilyn & Pat Howe of Sulphur, Linda & Lewis Burford of Lexington, Kentucky. Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Bill & Pat Wilson of Michigan, Mack & Laverne Wilson of Colorado. Sister: Leona "Dude" Mulligan of Topeka, Kansas, 9 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren
Services: Memorial Service will be Thursday July 30 at 2:00PM at the Sulphur United Methodist Church.
Memorial may be made in memory of Frank Wilson to the Sulphur United Methodist Church Building Fund.
