Her Will: (Henry County, VA. Will Book 1):
I, Martha E. Bouldin of the County of Henry, in the state of Virginia being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make ordain and publish this to be my last will and testament in the manner and form following that is to say.
Item: 1st I desire that all my just debts be paid out of my personal estate.
Item: 2nd I give and bequeath unto my three children Baborah Mitchell, Nathaniel Henry and Elizabeth Bouldin all the remainder of my estate both real and personal, except such as shall be hereafter devised.
Item: 3rd I give and bequeath unto my daughter Columbia Cobler wife of Robert T. Cobler the sum of one dollar in addition to what I have heretofore given her and her heirs forever.
Item: 4th I hereby make appoint and constitute my son Nathaniel Henry Bouldin executor of this my last will and testament, and I hereby revoke all other wills and testaments by me at any former time made.
Signed and acknowledged in the presence of Martha E. Bouldin, us both being present at the same time. Geo W. Booker, P. Spencer.

Henry County Court March Time (?) 1868. A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Martha E. Bouldin deceased was produced in court and proven by the oaths of George W. Booker and Pinkney Spencer to have been executed according to the laws of Virginia they being the subscribing witnesses to said will and thereupon the said will was admitted to court and ordered to be recorded as and for the last will and testament of the said Martha E. Bouldin deceased and the executor named in the said will not being present it was ordered that time be given him to come forward and qualify as said executor. Teste Geo. D. Gravely.
