Mrs. A. Myrtle Coss, 89, 1773 Front St., S.W., died Sunday, December 13, 1987 at Warren.

She was born Oct. 21, 1898, in Deep Valley, Pa., the daughter of Daniel R. and Mary Matilda Barnhart King.

On March 29, 1915, she married Mack Coss, who died Oct. 22, 1981.

Mrs. Coss had lived here nine years, coming from Deep Valley.

She was a member of Laurel Run United Methodist Church, Greene County, Pa.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roland (Pearl) Ruggles of Diamond, Mrs. LeRoy (Eva) Schlabs of Warren, with whom she made her home; three sons, James L. of Jackson, Mich., Thomas R. of New Freeport, Pa., Mack Jr. of Newton Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth VanHorn of Akron, Mrs. Ila Narrigan of Washington, Pa.; a brother, Raymond King of Frederickstown, Pa.; 24 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Betty Leek, a son, Ralph, three sisters, five brothers, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild preceded her in death.
