FUNERAL SERVICES FOR HENRY REEVE

Funeral services were held in Hinckley Tuesday afternoon in the Ward Chapel for Henry Reeve, 76, who died of causes incident to age. Bishop Harold R. Morris was in charge of the services. Speakers were John Pratt, Arthur Reeve, Mary L. Reeve and Bishop Morris. Music was furnished by the ward choir and two solos by G.M. Wright and Ladd Cropper. Mr. Reeve was born in Virgin City and is the son of the late Robert W. Reeve and Emma Burgess Reeve. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Bertha Slaughter who is now living in Salt Lake City. When a small boy, his parents moved to Hinckley; later he went to Wyoming and worked on the railroad for several years. He also worked on the Sevier Bridge Reservoir when it was under construction. Mr. Reeve never married, but worked and helped his parents support the family. He lived and practiced the simple virtues of life and was honest and kind and never boastful of the kind deeds he was constantly doing. Mrs. Bertha Slaughter came down from Salt Lake City for the funeral.
