Charles "Tom" Sumner was raised by his step-father Mr. J. Tom Baggett and his mother Mary Frances Grant Sumner Baggett, Toms father died when he was a boy, he and his sister Camilla Sumner came to live with widower Mr. Tom Baggett and his 3 daughters. Together Tom and Mary Frances enjoyed a prosperous life on the farm 2 miles N of Woodland. Eventually Tom Sumner went to have his own family and moved to the Ashelys Grove/Potecasi area and his sister Camilla married a Mr. Bolton. I have had trouble finding any further info on his sister Camilla, other than what my grandfather told me of Camilla before his death, she may have a daughter in Florida.
