Mrs. Minnie Louise Stewart age 86, of Mt.Vernon, passed away Saturday December 24, 2016 at the Baptist Health Richmond Hospital. She was born on June 9, 1930 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Martin and Maggie Cleo Doan Thomason. She was retired from the Parker Seal Company, enjoyed cooking, embroidering, and flower gardening, and was a member of the Holiness faith.
Survivors are: two sons; Wendell Stewart of Richmond, KY, and Donnie Stewart of Cincinnati, OH. One daughter; Gina Durham of Berea. Seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: he husband; Monroe, by one son; Nelson, by six brothers; Paul, Verldon, Joe, Bill, Bentley, and Ted, and by six sisters; Dessie, Roberta, Mary, Ruby, Lavern, and Nellie.
