The funeral services of Mrs. Abbiegail Trower, of Oskaloosa , Kansas , a daughter-in-law of Mrs. Samuel Trower, was held December 5th at the Hebron Baptist church at 2 p.m. She was laid to rest in the Wise cemetery, 1 1/4 miles south east of Winchester, Kansas.
Rev. J.M. Cornelius of Valley Falls, officiated. Rev. Cornelius was previously her pastor for a period of five years.
Easter Abbiegail Wray was born in Jefferson County, Kansas, July 27, 1869, and departed from this life on December 2, 1928 at the age of 59 years, 5 months and five days.
She was united in marriage with John W. Trower, February 28, 1888. To this union five children were born, three of whom , with her husband survive. They are Mrs. Miama Brown, Rollo Trower of Oskaloosa, Kansas, and Charlie Trower of Nortonville, Kansas. One Son, Kelly, and one daughter, Emma preceded her to the heavenly home. Besides her family, she leaves ten grandchildren, four brothers, and other relatives to mourn her passing.
She united with the Hebron Baptist church early in life and remained a faithful member until the end.
She was loved by all who knew her for her genial personality and sunny disposition.
Patience in sickness and suffering was characteristic of her life and she will be sadly missed by a host of relatives and friends.
