Davis Services Pending

Services are set for Monday at 2 p.m. in Atwood High School Auditorium for Louis E. Davis, Atwood, who died in the P & S Hospital Saturday. Rev. Pauline McNutt will officiate and burial will be in Atwood cemetery under the direction of Hudson Funeral Home. Davis, 75, a retired farmer, was born in Ozark, Ark., on August 19, 1876. He came to this community in 1919 from Stuart. He is survived by his wife, Emma, of the home; two sons, Roy E. Davis, Los Angeles, Calif., and Dwayne Davis of Atwood; two daughters, Letha Ramsey, Los Angeles, Calif., and Vernice Phillips of Atwood; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Luther B. Davis, Los Angeles, Calif., one one sister, Mrs A. T. Taylor, Oklahoma City. Pallbearers are to be Virgil Wilkerson, Earnest Phillips, Leon Irwin, Leon Hayes, Clyde Ritter, and Merle Stephanson.
