Joseph Seibel of Tabernacle passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, in Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. He was 71.

Born in Philadelphia, he has resided in Tabernacle for the past 13 years, moving there from Marlton.

He is a retired Systems Engineer with L3 Communications in Camden, N.J., working there for more 30 years.

Joe also was a Past President, VP and member of the Evesham Township Board of Education, a Foster Parent with his wife for 25 years, and a volunteer with the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was the husband of the late Helen (Arietta) Seibel and the loving father of Deborah Seibel Lichtenstein and her husband, Neil of Virginia Beach, Va., Karen Seibel Petrongolo and her husband, Chris of Hammonton, N.J., Patricia Seibel Helms of Egg Harbor Township, N.J. and Matthew Joseph Seibel and his wife, Larissa Applegate, MD of Denver, Colo. He is also survived by his siblings: Barbara Estelow of Medford, Walter Paul Seibel of Pitman, N.J., and Rosemary Hansen of Palmyra; and grandchildren: Brittany Anne Helms, Alexandra Rose Lichtenstein, Isabelle Jessica Lichtenstein, Max McClure Lichtenstein, Mark Joseph Weikel, Tess Elizabeth Petrongolo, Anthony Christopher Petrongolo and Joseph Seibel Petrongolo.

He was the father of the late Jessica Lynn Seibel, and brother of the late Edgar M. Raiguel.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Road, Medford.

Interment will follow in the Park View Cemetery in Medford.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, Jones Road, Medford, NJ 08055.
