Andrea was born to Olga and Dr. Stenson Byrd. She attended public schools in Guthrie, and graduated from Guthrie High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Langston University and was employed as a registered nurse at St. Anthony Hospital and later Intensiva Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.
