CARLSBAD--Graveside services for Joan L. Haynes, 73, of Country Club Circle, are 4 p.m. today at Sunset Gardens. Mrs. Haynes died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998 at Columbia Medical Center of Carlsbad.
Dr. Billy Weckel of Hospice Services will officiate. Visitation will be closed casket from 10 a.m. to service time.
Arrangements are by West Funeral Home Inc.
Mrs. Haynes was born May 23, 1924, in Carlsbad to parents the late Joe and Dorothy Ryan Livingston. Mrs. Haynes was raised and educated in Carlsbad, graduating from Carlsbad High School. She later attended college in Albuquerque and California.
She met Harry Haynes and they were married Aug. 1, 1976, in Florence, Calif. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors are husband, Harry Haynes of Carlsbad and sister, Nancy Brown of Austin, Texas.
