Mr. Buck leaves his wife, Carrie; three daughters, Mrs. Virgil Hilton of Selma RR, Mrs. Carcie Golliher of Mooreland, and Mrs. Richard Cline of Muncie; two sons, Ray and Kenneth, both of Muncie; six sisters, Mrs. Erbe Bow, Mrs. Charlie Hull, Mrs. Cletis Berry and Mrs. Oliver Potter, all of Tennessee, and Mrs. Robert Garrett and Mrs. Floyd Garrett, both of Muncie; two brothers, Melford Buck of Tennessee and Cuthbirt Buck of Muncie, as well as 10 grandchildren.
He was born in Scott County, Tenn., but had lived in Muncie and Delaware County for 40 years. He attended the Separate Baptist Church in Losantville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Parson Mortuary. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Thursday.
By his Military records, he filled out the form with his name as: Youen Thelbert Buck.
