Jerry Ennis
Jerry C. Ennis, 66, Martinsville, died at 12:01 p.m. July 13, 2003, at Morgan Hospital & Medical Center in Martinsville.
The son of the late Charles Clarence Ennis and Ruth M. Plain Ennis Sherry, he was born April 21, 1937, in Martinsville. His wife, Anita A. Martindale Ennis, whom he married April 4,1964, survives.
Ennis was employed in the shipping department for Bryant's Heating & Cooling, now called United Technologies, retiring in 1993 after 31 years of service.
He was a 1955 graduate of Martinsville High School and a Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol A. Lewis, Martinsville, and Julie L. Massey, Paragon; two brothers, James M. Ennis, Martinsville, and Jack L. Ennis, Arizona; a sister, Jannette S. Hodge, Glen
Allen, Va., and four grandchildren, Erik Jergensen and Christopher, Danielle and Jerron Massey,
The graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Hilldale Cemetery in Martinsville.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Costin funeral Home in Martinsville.
