Jeffrey "Jefe" Sloan-King, 35, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2011, with his mom by his side. Jeff was preceded in death by his "Pap," Pete Sloan; special cousin, Andy Berumen; and grandparents, Paul and Martha Bonino and Robert King. Jeff is survived by his mother, Jona (Sloan) Emch; brother, Robert "Bopps" King; stepsiblings, Kim Pellham, Pete Jr. and Brent Sloan; father, Robert (Darlene) King; grandparents, John (Geri) Redmond and Ruth King; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends; and his very special dog, "Snickers." At Jeff's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. His ashes will be spread high in the mountains above Clear Creek Resevoir next to his "PAP," where Jeff enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. There will be a Remembrance Celebration at 1 p.m. today, May 10, at 1131 Euclid, where family and friends may be reached. Please send all condolences to 1131 Euclid.
