Millard County Chronicle 12/08/1932

WALKER STEWART DIES

Walker Stewart the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Stewart of Hinckley died of flu/pneumonia on Tuesday, November 29th at the age of fourteen years and six months. The boy had had the flu and was up and around again when he took a chill and pneumonia set in. For over a week, he fought this disease but finally succumbed. He is survived by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held at Hinckley on the following Wednesday under the direction of Bishop Stratton. The music was given by the Academy and a solo by G. M. Wright. The speakers paid tribute to the excellent character of the boy and extended sympathy to the bereaved family. Scout Master Don A. Bishop spoke of his fine qualities and of his work in the Scout Troop which had entitled him to a Merit Badge and at the conclusion of his remarks pinned the badge upon the boys coat as earned by merit.
