Funeral services for Enne Folkers, whose death occurred Thursday of last week after an illness of but a few hours, were held at the home Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. L. C. Lentz and were attended by a large number of friends. Burial took place at German Lutheran Cemetery.
Enne Folkers was born March 22, 1865, in Westermore, Germany. He came to America in 1883 and settled at Beatrice. He removed to Gothenburg about three years later, and has since resided in this vicinity. He was married in 1887 to Miss Maggie Meints. Nine children were born to them, seven of whom, with his wife survive him.
