A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Hope B. Sanders of Battleground, Wash., formerly of the Lane County area. She died Sept. 22 of age-related causes at age 95.
She was born June 15, 1913, in Sedro-Woolley, Wash., to Samuel and Mary James Lane. She married Garold Sanders on Sept. 17, 1932, in Sedro-Woolley.
Sanders, a homemaker, attended high school in Sedro-Woolley.
Survivors include a son, Leonard of Milton-Freewater; two sisters, Edna Rowe of Seattle and Chloe Stoddard of Bellevue, Wash.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Her husband died in 1997. Two sons, Amsey and Burl, and a daughter, Leone Bonin, died previously.
Private burial will be in Springfield Memorial Gardens
