LINCOLN - Marie Culnan Fue
LINCOLN - Marie Culnan Fue, 87, of Lincoln, a homemaker and volunteer, died at 4:25 a.m. Tuesday (July 5, 1994) at St. Clara's Manor Inc., Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Church, Lincoln, Monsignor Norman Goodman officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lincoln.
There will be no visitation. Kerrigan Funeral Home, Lincoln, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fue was born Aug. 19, 1906, at St. Louis, a daughter of John and Mary Katherine Pluth Plut. She married Edward T. Culnan Jan. 24, 1938, in Lincoln. He died Feb. 18, 1962. She married Harold Fue in 1966 in Lincoln. He died in January 1974.
Surviving are two daughters, Sister Marybeth Culnan, Order of St. Francis, Springfield, and Anita Daly, Taylorville; one son, Thomas E. Culnan, Lincoln; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. One son, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Fue was a member of Holy Family Church and the Daughters of Isabella of the church. She also was a member of the Logan County Farm Bureau and the Logan County Homemakers Extension Association.
As a volunteer, Mrs. Fue had been a helper in the St. Clara's Manor Inc. gift shop and at the Oasis Senior Citizens Center in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
