Dorothea "Sally" L. Wright, age 80, of Marble Road passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at her home.
Sally was born on April 8, 1931 in Vernon, N.Y., a daughter of the late Ernest and Agnes (Mackey) Lanz and was a member of one of the last graduating classes of Vernon High School.
On June 21, 1952 Sally and Fred Paul "Klem" Wright were united in marriage in Vernon and shared that union until "Paul's" death on April 6, 2006.
She was a member of Holy Family Church of Vernon and the Munnsville and Vernon Legion Auxiliaries. She was a member of the YMCA and participated in water aerobics classes where she met and made friends with many wonderful caring people.
Sally was happiest when she shared a good time with friends and family, as she did on her 80th birthday party at The Marble Hill Inn.
Sally grew up on the top of Marble Hill and enjoyed one of the best views in Oneida County right from her living room. It was something she cherished right up until she was called to serve the Lord.

Sally was predeceased by her husband, Paul and one sister, June.
