Rosemary M. McCormack, 80, of Springfield, formerly of Newton and Olney, died at 7:53 p.m. Friday, July 18, 1997, at her residence.

McCormack was born Feb. 14, 1917, in Olney, the daughter of C. R. "Charn" and Opal (Berry) Miller. She married Drexel McCormack in 1942.

She was a retired executive secretary for Sears Roebuck in Springfield.

She is survived by one brother, Phillip "Duke" Miller of Florida; one sister, Carolyn Teitz, of Benton; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Kent Miller, and a daughter Susan Thomas.
