Keith Heiner Fry, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, January 18, 1998, from complications of a heart attack.

He was born March 9, 1924 in Morgan, Utah, the son of Loyal and Ina Heiner Fry. Keith married Norine Petterborg, of Layton, June 25, 1947. Their vows were solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on their 1st Anniversary, June 25, 1948.Keith served during World War II in the Army Air Corps, and then in the Air Force and during the Berlin Airlift and the Korean conflict. After leaving the Air Force, he worked at Hill AFB for 27 years, until he retired in 1979. His favorite job was being "grandpa".

He was a champion bowler, he loved planes and flying, had his private pilots license and built and flew model planes. He was very deft with his hands, doing many projects including building two boats.

Keith is survived by his wife of 50 years, Norine; three children, Marlin (Deborah) Fry, Richmond, VA; Karen (Robert) Mathena, Orange Park, FL; and Alane Fry, of Kaysville; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, L. Wayne (Elma) Fry, Bountiful; Thomas D. (Margee) Fry, Clearfield; three sisters, Nadine (Clyde) Spencer, Hemet, CA; Diane (Glen) Campbell, Bountiful; Susan (Woody) Shifflet, Centerville.
