Beloved and beautiful daughter of Edward B Allen and Louise Brundage. Performing with her family, The Flying Allens, in 1946, Arlene, age 17, dropped on electric transmission lines while performing near Bristol, Tennessee. Severe burns, received at the time, resulted in over two years of suffering and caused her death.
