Lucille "Lucy" George Bailey, age 83, of Peachtree City, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on April 28, 2011. Lucille was born November 3, 1927 in Enoree, South Carolina, the daughter of Franklin Augustus George and Annie Mae Jones, deceased, and sister of Charles George, deceased.

She is survived by 3 children, Emilie (Leon) McLaughlin of Jonesboro, GA; Patrice (Raymond) Lewis of Birmingham, Alabama; and Minor L. (Terri) Bailey of Sharpsburg, GA; 4 grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Matthew and Megan; 4 great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth George of Valdosta, GA.

She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Georgia, and an active member of Saints Alive. She worked as Assistant Ticket Director for the Atlanta Braves and then Atlanta Falcons until her retirement in 1996.

Funeral service held Friday, April 29 in the chapel at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, GA. Burial at Camp Memorial Park. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, GA in charge of arrangements.
